Project Overview

Built an interactive Tableau dashboard analyzing 9,216 ER visits to uncover patterns in wait times, patient demographics, and referral trends. Designed for hospital operations and population health teams.

Key Insights (What Matters)

  • Average Wait Time: 35.26 minutes. Which is stable across months, but spikes early mornings (6–8 AM).

  • Average Satisfaction: 4.99/10. Shows no direct improvement even when wait times drop, showing deeper experience issues.

  • Who Visits Most: Adults 19–65 drive the majority of volume.

  • Referrals: General Practice (1,840) and Orthopedics (995) dominate post-ER follow-up.

  • Demographics: Patient mix is diverse, with no major disparities in wait time by race.
